Welcome to my blog %user%! My name is Alexios Akrimpai (a.k.a. Alex, Lexa) and I am a Computer Science student at Essex University. I have a strong interest in software development, economics, investing, business management, and psychology.
When I’m lucky to get some free time, I like to travel. My biggest travelling achievement so far is: Colchester – Odessa – Athens – Colchester car trip in summer 2010 on my ex 97′ Rover 214 (see: map).
In the future (when my finances permit), I plan to have more trips, both on cars, motorbikes, and boats. My dream is to make an around the world trip, sail across the Atlantic ocean, and ride the legendary Route 66 on a Harley.
As you’ve probably guessed, this blog will be about things that are of interest to me. I will be blogging about my projects, news, stories, and reviews. Here I will be sharing my latest developments in software (e.g. games, apps, etc.), my personal life’s news, stories about what I have accomplished, and my vision about my future (i.e. what I want to accomplish). Also, as I read books and online articles/blog posts in my free time, I will be reviewing some of them that I find interesting and want to add my two cents.
One of the reasons for starting this blog is to have a log of my life and get some feedback. So, feel free %user% to comment any of my posts. See you around!
